Sorry about the lack thereof of updates, it's been a crazy hectic week, and maybe my pictures will help suffice. The lack of content is not acceptable. Therefore, I hope to make it up soon. GLOWIN' IN THE DARK

I am still glowin' from the tour, but here's a recap of it, for those who were not able to go, but you still have the chance to catch the June show!
*Lupe Fiasco was wildin' out with this new kicking/dancing he did. It was dope. He's got some real energy. *N.E.R.D. killed it with their new and old songs like Lapdance & She Wants To Move...and ahh...Pharrell....*Rihanna's performance of Umbrella was hot, her outfits were awesome (I bet Chris loved that...) but I wasn't feelin' the slow songs as much - like Unfaithful.*Kayne: I tried to remember the song order, because his plotline and the organization of the entire show was amazing: Good Morning, I Wonder (good hands-in-the-air jam), Champion, Nothing Lasts Forever, Through The Wire (loved it!), elevated platform in Spaceship (flyy...passt the skyyy), the spaceship turned into bootylicious golden models in Golddigger, the infamous 'I go for mine, I got to shine' line with the hands up after Good Life, Jesus Walks, and the essential anthem of the day: Get 'Em High, throwing up diamonds in Diamonds, Can't Tell Me Nothin' was so hard & so good, Flashing Lights, and then I teared up in Hey Mama (Grammy version), then he had the only break time throughout the whole show besides talking to the spaceship while they blasted Journey's "Don't Stop Believing", Daft madness in Stronger, going back home on the spaceship with Homecoming, and to top it off, the finale with Touch the Sky.
Too bad I don't have any pictures of Kanye....maybe I will update later.

Well anyway, after the show, we sprinted our asses off to the car so we could get out of the stadium ASAP, because God knows how many cars were lined up around the arena. And although this violent and loud ex-boyfriend who was jealous over his ex who he was at the concert with for liking some other guy right behind us, yelling and saying "Fuck you" 200 times to the girl (who just sat there and did nothing acting like a dumb bitch) and then after busting a guy's lip who interrogated the conversation, got escorted out by the po's and left the girl all alone watching the rest of the concert - it was worth it, and every minute was good (besides the fact that I know EVERYTHING about their relationship, that I could be Dr. Phil to them).
Although we had a flat tire on the way there (thank goodness we left super early, and thank goodness Juanzo - the man - was there! Big ups to you homie), and I couldn't bring in my huge camera into the concert with me, the day was complete in the end.

EXERCISE WITH WII!

Nintendo designer, Shigeru Miyamoto, is presenting to America the "Wii Fit" a game that emerged from his recent obsession with weighing himself and that has sold, he says, close to 2 million copies in Japan.

It releases for the red-hot Nintendo Wii, which just sold 720,000 units in March, according to the NPD group, on May 19. The game will come with the Balance Board, a small exercise board that contains sensors that detect the player's balance. The sensors enable the game to not just weigh the player, but to control several dozen yoga, strength-training and aerobic activities — as well as play mini-game activities, such as ski jumping and soccer goalie.

COOL! Finally, a video game that means something. Get in shape and start understanding your body more by playing video games, you know, when you don't have the energy or motivation to get outside and just run for 30 minutes straight. It might help if you're like me and you need a personal trainer/coach/or others around you doing better to become motivated and keep up with an exercise.

KANYE & ALEXIS CALL IT QUITS.

Alexis Phifer, Kanye West's fiancée of 18 months, has confirmed that the couple's engagement is off.

"It's always sad when things like this end, and we remain friends," Phifer reportedly told People.com. "I wish him the best in his future and all of his endeavors. He's one of the most talented people I've ever met."

..."They'd been having problems," a friend of West's told the site. "Kanye is really focused on his show; he's putting everything into the show right now. Alexis is a nice girl, but Kanye has been going through a rough time. They hit a rough patch and for now they've split."

Sadness...but maybe it's because Glow In The Dark is just too good! He's gotta focus...on being on a spaceship and all...but really, I'm sure things will work out in the end come June.

HAPPY EARTH DAY - NOW GO GREEN!

Happy Earth Day! There's never a better time to go green, with the increased awareness of eco-friendly products and methods for a cleaner world. Even American Apparel is offering you an incentive to go green: 10% off organics! Take advantage yo, because even though it's more greens to spend, spend it for the greens - the world that is. I think we can all change our lifestyles a little bit to contribute to a greener world. Like for instance, walk or take the bike/skateboard/public transportation to nearby places (which will not only help the world, but your wallet since gas is RIDICULOUS as of now) and abide by the three R's we learned so much back in grade school: reduce - reuse - recycle...this is NO JOKE people, recycling is a serious matter! What I need to start doing is to pick up some Baggu bags for when I go grocery shopping, to diminish my guilt in using so much plastic or paper that's really only necessary for the ride home. And besides these bags, or similar re-usable bags, are starting to get super cute, it could be the IT bag of all time. Whether you are a green machine and promote healthier/greener/eco-friendlier living or not, think about the nasty ass smog and pollution in the world...don't you want to be able to walk your dog in clean, fresh air, without worrying about an asthma attack or the smell of garbage everywhere? Yup, going green helps everyone. SO DO IT!

WHAT I HAD BEEN WAITING FOR.

So driving home last night for a little over an hour from SD, and then back to LA for another half an hour made me dead. Why? Because simply, GLOW IN THE DARK WAS FUCKING AMAZING!!!!!

I don't want to spoil it for the people attending the two LA shows coming up today and tomorrow, so I'll keep it simple. LUPE FIASCO WAS WILDIN' OUT AND DOING HIS TWO STEP. N.E.R.D., PARTICULARLY PHARRELL WAS OH-MAH-GOD HOT, RIHANNA'S VOICE IS AMAZING LIVE - SHE DID HER THANG, AND KANYE...oh my gosh...I can't describe it in words. I have to recollect my thoughts and remember the whole concert all over but it just makes me smile because it was so surreal. OK KANYE WAS BEYOND AMAZING AND EVERY ASPECT OF HIS PERFORMANCE WAS ON POINT. The whole concert lasted for almost 5 hours (mostly because of transitioning through sets)! BUT DAMN, I WILL REMEMBER THIS 4/20 FOR THE REST OF MY LIFE! If you're going to the LA shows tonight or tomorrow, get loose, possibly get intoxicated beforehand, and just please believe that the money you saved up for this ticket will NOT let you down.
