POLITICS AS USUAL

This year is already jam-packed with politics, legislation, protests, and pure rivalry as far as the presidential race is concerned. And whether you're an Obama lover or a hater, photojournalist Harry Benson opens an exhibition that's worth seeing this weekend. The exhibition is entitled Politics as Usual: As seen by Harry Benson and takes place at the David Gallery in Culver City.

Benson has photographed every U.S. president from Eisenhower to George W. Bush; was just feet away from Bobby Kennedy the night he was assassinated and in the room with Richard Nixon when he resigned; witnessed both the construction and demolition of the Berlin Wall; and covered the Gulf War and the struggle in Afghanistan.

Take a peek at some of his spectacular shots, courtesy of David Gallery:

Al Pacino, Coppola & Diane Keaton in "The Godfather"
"Jackie"
"Beatles Pillow Fight"
"Judy Garland"
"MLK Family"
The exhibit runs through August 23, but head over to the gallery this Saturday for the reception and book signing from 6 to 8 pm.
