MONEY HUNGRY LEPRECHAUNS...OR WAS IT A CRACKHEAD?

Happy St. Patrick's Day! That is, for those of you who celebrate this Irish holiday.
Designer Jeremy Scott had an early take on St. Patty's Day during Fall 2008 Fashion Week last month, with these Batman & Robin-inspired eyes, mean, green, ca$h money pieces for this fall:I'm not one to be seen eating corned beef with soda bread or gulfing down green lager, but it's nice to acknowledge a holiday with a long history - and a pretty cool excuse to buying/wearing/consuming/advocating green things.
In fact, there are quite a few items I can name that are green and/or Irish at the top of my head: clovers (four-leaf = lucky), veggies, herbs of various kinds, Lucky Charms (now being served at Red Mango for a limited time only), being environmentally safe/friendly, lime Jello, pistachio ice cream/cake, the Chicago River (The river is dyed green every year - isn't that a little harmful to the environment?)...Anyway, I guess for me, Irish ain't my thing, but hats off to drinkin' beer, advocating a green world, and attempting Irish accents.
Just don't let the bad side of green like envy & greed get to you this year. But then again, there's a pot o' gold at the end of the rainbow, and a leprechaun searches for it. That's pure greed, since one would do anything for a pot o' fine gold, ey?
But then again, if leprechauns really do exist searching for that treasure, this lady in the car probably sums it up the best: it "COULD BE A CRACKHEAD!"
Well, whatever your plans are for tonight, have a happy and safe green day, everyone!
LepreKanye doing that jig, over & out!
