STUSSY x KATE GIBB

This is probably one of the sickest collaborations that Stussy has brought on board, and I'm glad because to me, it felt like the brand was going downhill as far as designs go, although their Destiny collection featuring graffiti artist Futura has stepped up it's game slightly. This new custom made line features silk-screen artist Kate Gibb and her hip-hop inspired prints. Her art is transformed into these tees that reflect her experimentation of colors (which is, in fact, on point) of photographs that peek into the mundane daily activities of youth hip-hop and musical culture.Pretty dope!
She's created prints for The Chemical Brothers, Simian, Bob Marley, My Computer, The Magic Numbers and most recently Sonny J...and her other collaborations have included Dries Van Noten, Levis, Lee and Adidas in addition to many more advertising projects for companies based in UK, Europe, America and Japan.
Watch a clip about her work via Stussy.
