The right EmPHAsis on the Wrong SylLAble

Ever find yourself wondering how to pronounce those luxurious brand/designer names and feel like shooting yourself in the head because you don't know how to speak French or Italian and look retarded pretending to know how to say them? Sure, you've got down Dior, Chanel, Prada...but what about them tricky ones like Christian Lacroix, Jean Paul Gaultier, Nicolas Ghesquière, Lanvin (it's deceiving, but it's pronounced differently than you think)?

Well, to help a sister (or brother) out, Teri of the Wall Street Journal gives proper pronunciations for those words and an audio sample you can replay over and over til' you get it down right.

Now, you can act like a true Parisian fashionista while impressing your friends with that amazing pronunciation.

Check it out here and get yo' words straight!
